Angy BlailockMy name is Angy Blailock and I am a true-to-life DO-IT-YOURSELFER!  For many years, I have googled my way through planning birthday parties and baby showers, doing home repairs, making homemade gifts, trying new recipes, sewing, and my favorite niche – digital scrapbooking.

I have never thought of myself as being creative, but I love looking at something and bringing it to life…digitally!  I’m not artistic, nor can I make great color combinations, so I just use them all!  I am a color junkie…I love lots and lots of color!

My artistic abilities are gravely limited.  Give me a pen and piece of paper, I can’t draw a respectable circle.  Give me a computer, I can come up with just about anything!  Thank goodness for so many wonderful software programs out there.   That’s how I created my DigiGirl!DigiGirl

Digital Scrapbooking opened a whole new world for me!  Some of my projects turned out fantastic and others—ehh!  This was my inspiration to start DigiDesign Girls!  I want to share everything I have learned over the years, from start to finish and you will see how self-rewarding it is to DO-IT-YOURSELF!

On a more personal side, we live a modest and frugal life in North Alabama.  I am the wife of an Engineer, mother of four beautiful children, grandmother of two sweet grandchildren, and pet lover to 3 adorable dogs.

I love spending time with my kids and grandkids, so my house is always a mess and I have massive amounts of laundry piled up everywhere.  But, that’s OK!  My kids and grandkids probably won’t remember how messy our house was, but they will remember everything I do for them!
